Stained Glass from Welsh Churches was officially launched on 27 June 2014 at Canolfan y Morlan, Aberystwyth. My grateful thanks to all who were able to attend, and for many good wishes sent by others.

Eirian Jones from Y Lolfa kindly provided the introductions, and Peter Lord (pictured left) spoke about the book in the context of other important contributions to the study of Welsh visual culture – his own work towers above them all of course. I spoke a little about the book and showed a few windows from in and around Aberystwyth that are included in it.

With me at the centre is little Macsen, left with me while my wife Charlene hurried off to get an extension lead for the projector, and (right) Dafydd Johnston, Director of the Centre for Advanced Welsh and Celtic Studies.
